The results you can expect from any skin rejuvenation procedure always depend on the training and skill of the clinician.

A professional can accurately evaluate skin type and specific skin conditions, then recommend a procedural plan specifically tailored for each patient.
There are many methods to skin needling & there really is “no this is the best method” Or this pin type is the best one!

The processing of treating someone’s skin comes down to ultimately figuring that skin type & making key adjustments and methods to suit that skin based on the modality you use.

What we do know is that skin needling has proven itself in rejuvenating skin very well.

When we are considering Skin Needling .. the choice to use the right cartridges( needle number) is a key factor in getting the results. ! Anyone can pick up a device and apply! But you need to STOP .. ask yourself, is this the right application for this client? and should I be using two cartridge types for this patient?

12gauge VS 36gauge as an example! A clinic offering skin needling should have the options of both or a selection to choose based on the skin and area they are treating!

What are the differences between the 12 pin, 36 pin and nano-needle cartridges? Which one do I need?

The 12 pin is recommended for the face, while the 36 pin is more suitable for body and deeper acne ridge scarring on the face.
Nano sits mostly on the top .25mm of the epidermis. Ideal for just that reglow effect & hydration. Of course can be achieved with the other cartridges too dialled in at .25 penetration.
However, consideration MUST be about the skin you are treating first.

A more sensitive or thinner skin type would not be so suitable using 36 Pin .. due to possible over injury, & extended post recovery.

Like any procedure, microneedling can cause possible complications, including bleeding, bruising, infection, scarring, and pigment problems.

A good rule is: More injury larger healing cascade.
